Many of our customers have found that a maintenance agreement with W.A. Tolbard helps to ensure a safe, comfortable, and energy efficient indoor environment. As a service contract customer, you will receive two inspections per year on your heating and cooling units, as well as priority service anytime you need our assistance. HVAC Inspections include:
- Clean and/or replace standard air filters
- Inspect inside cooling coil
- Inspect primary and secondary drains
- Clean and inspect condensate drain
- Inspect blower components and clean and/or adjust as necessary
- Lubricate all moving parts (where applicable)
- Inspect and tighten all loose electrical connections
- Monitor air conditioner operating pressures for proper refrigerant charge
- Monitor voltage and amperage draw on all motors
- Monitor air conditioning and heating cycles
- Inspect heat exchanger and burners: vacuum and/or adjust as needed
- Adjust gas pressure as necessary
- Inspect pilot operation and adjust as necessary
- Monitor flue draft for safe operation
- Inspect and test safety controls
- Adjust air flow for proper temperature rise
- Inspect heat anticipator settings
- Inspect thermostat operation
- Inspect for cracked heat exchanger
Gas Fireplace Inspections include:
- Clean and vacuum the interior of the unit
- Replenish ember material
- Adjust flame as necessary
- Clean gas fireplace glass doors
